A Newsletter could be the most effective way to stay engaged with your clients and customers.

Why a Newsletter?

I hate the word ‘newsletter’ - but I love what they do!

The word seems dry and brings to mind braggy lists of dates and dry listings and links. Delete, delete, delete. That’s a shame, because in reality, a newsletter (I’ll keep using that word!) can be a happy note to your customer, a party invite to your client and a postcard to your neighbor, all rolled into one.

A direct email newsletter isn’t fancy but it might be the best way to reach your clients and customers. Direct email is read, acted on and results in trackable sales and bookings for artists, retailers, non-profits and events. While social media can seem like the on-trend way to market your business, you don’t own your ‘feed’ on any platform. A shift in an algorithm or a flux in trends and suddenly no one sees your posts. A a direct-to-consumer email is communication you own. It is the most effective, proven way to share information about your business, your art, and your work with an engaged audience. The statistics don’t lie. Direct emails (NEWSLETTERS!) are an economical way to connect with your customers.

So why don’t you have a newsletter?

My first love is helping you to get your own newsletter started, and then standing back while you handle it. If this is for you, we can start right now.

However, when I talk to independent stores, artists and other clients the answer I hear most often is “I don’t have time”. Writing and sending a great newsletter is a trackable way to increase bookings, sales and donations, but it’s also a bit of work.

That’s where I come in.

I love writing newsletters. I love helping businesses and artists and non-profits find their voice and their tone. I love it when those orders and bookings and queries come back because of a newsletter. I work regularly with the most popular email newsletter platforms on the market; from free-to-use bare-bones services to integrated, flagship and enterprise-level services. I promise there is one that works for your business and your budget and I can help you find it.

A Newsletter pays for itself - Newsletter services-where I do the work, start at $200 per month. A two-meeting Newsletter Consultation is $250 and will get you working on your own newsletter, quickly.

Either way, we’ll work together to determine a format and schedule for your newsletter that promotes your work and connects to your existing customer lists. Newsletter content can also be used to deepen engagement on social media and increase your website content. Depending on your needs and investment, I can help you to create additional sign-up opportunities with incentives, graphics, and more.

We’ll work together to determine the focus of your newsletter and your content will be original and tailored to YOUR business, organization or event. You can then send your own newsletters monthly, or I’ll work each month to create a message that reflects your voice and your work, encourages customers to connect more deeply with what you do, and works to increase your sales.

I’d like to create my own newsletters with your help.

I’d like to have you do my newsletter each month.
